2026 Lincoln Aviator Engine & Performance
The 2026 Lincoln Aviator delivers exceptional performance with a standard twin-turbocharged V6 engine. Displacing 3.0 liters, the Aviator engine makes 415 pound-feet of torque at just 3,000 revolutions per minute (RPM), which helps make it a responsive accelerator or capable towing SUV. Across the trim lineup, the Aviator engine is paired with a standard ten-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifter-operated SelectShift® capability, along with either rear-wheel drive (RWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD).
Fuel economy with either drivetrain is 25 MPG, with slight variance in city fuel economy between each drivetrain. The Aviator fuels its engine from a 20.2-gallon tank, which enables a maximum range of 424 miles with RWD. Premium fuel with an octane rate of 91 or higher is recommended in the Aviator for peak performance, but regular unleaded fuel with an 87 octane rating is acceptable.
An adaptive suspension is standard, delivering exceptional ride smoothness. Adding the optional Dynamic Handling Package provides an automatic raising and lowering air glide suspension.
